True Performance dvLED Panels & Control System Processing
dvLED Panel and Processor from one source, calibrated as one system in Germany.
Powered by EKTA, our own engineering lineage since 1992. That is why the color holds across the whole dvLED wall, at every brightness level and on every production batch.
TRUE dvLED runs in automotive design studios, broadcast sets, LED volumes and control rooms, where a wrong hue or a lost shadow is an expensive mistake.

Over 30 Years of Engineering Experience in dvLED
Design Studios, Virtual Production, Spherical Applications, Control Rooms, Mission Critical Applications, Broadcast, Events, Media Facades, Conference Rooms, custom solutions. We have the right dvLED for your job, with guaranteed color and detail accuracy: Pantone validated, and consistent across LED technologies and pixel pitches, so a color decision made on one dvLED wall holds on every other.
Where design decisions are made.
An ultra wide TRUE dvLED wall renders a Porsche, life size and color true.
Panel and control system from one company
Most suppliers make either the panels or the processing. TRUE makes both, calibrates them together and ships them as one product, so the Delta E measured in Kassel, Germany is the Delta E you measure in your room.
Both halves, one source
The panel logic and the control system come from one source. One team owns the whole signal path, from the driver IC on the module to the finished pixel, so nothing is lost in a handover.
Country of Origin: Germany
Control system and LED panels, all system logic developed and manufactured in Europe, are married and calibrated at our site in Kassel, Germany, home to R&D, final assembly and service. The finished display carries a German certificate of origin.
No foreign logic inside
Every part of the system that processes data is ours: the ERMAC processor, the LSC distributors, the receiving cards and the driver logic on the module. No foreign logic sits anywhere in the signal path.
Reference grade accuracy
Delta E below 1 where a design studio demands it, below 2 in standard applications, measured with a colorimeter rather than judged by eye.
From a space program to a world first in color
Most companies’ business cases are no rocket science. Ours literally started with it. The engineering behind TRUE began in 1992 as EKTA, with video engineers from a former space program, and continued as EKTA Vision in Germany. That lineage led to the first dvLED with its own control system in 1997, and in 2024 to the world’s first Pantone validated dvLED display solution. Today the same team delivers dvLED with DICOM Part 14 GSDF grayscale performance.
EKTA space program roots
Founded as EKTA by video engineers who built imaging systems for a former space program, then turned that precision to LED.
World’s first Pantone validated dvLED
The first dvLED display solution in the world to carry Pantone validation, proven together with Porsche Design.
DICOM Part 14 GSDF grayscale
dvLED with grayscale performance DICOM Part 14 GSDF conformant, documented by measurement.
Pantone validated dvLED, calibrated as one system in Germany
Pantone validated dvLED, engineered and calibrated in Germany. When the panel logic and the control system are engineered by the same team, the picture stays true from the source all the way to the pixel.
The whole signal path, owned by one team
From the LED module logic, through to the ERMAC control system, every link is TRUE’s own engineering. At its heart sits the Color Space Engine, which holds a Pantone validated reproduction across brightness levels and across production batches, so the signal you send stays untouched all the way to the pixel. Accurate dvLED is not a bill of materials. Even the most expensive parts only become one system when they are synchronised and calibrated together, down to the last bit, and that is what we have done for panel and control system together since 1992.

Permanently operated dvLED Experience Center, open for your measurements
In our permanently operated dvLED Technology Experience Center in Kassel, Germany, color accuracy goes on an instrument. Compare panels side by side, watch the Color Space Engine hold a color across brightness levels, and judge the result with instruments rather than opinion.

dvLED, answered
What makes TRUE Performance different from other dvLED suppliers?
The panel logic and the control system come from one source. Almost every supplier owns only one half, either the panel or the controller, so the two have to meet somewhere in the middle. We engineer them as one product, and that is what reaches reference grade color and detail accuracy.
Does TRUE really make both the LED panels and the control system?
The logic does, and that is the part that decides the picture. ERMAC, the LSC signal distributors, the receiving cards and the module driver logic are all ours, refined since 1992. The finished display is then married and calibrated in Germany. It is one calibrated signal path, not two vendors meeting in the middle.
Why does controlling both the panel and the processing improve image quality?
Color and detail accuracy depend on the panel and the processing working as one calibrated system. When one company designs both, calibration runs the whole way through. That is why fields where color has to be exact, such as automotive design, rely on TRUE.
Where is TRUE Performance based, and where is the product made?
The ERMAC control system is developed and built in Germany. The finished display is married, calibrated and signed off in Germany, which is why it carries a German certificate of origin issued by the Chamber of Commerce.
Why do automotive design studios choose TRUE dvLED?
Because the color is reliable. TRUE is the first dvLED with Pantone validation, and its Color Space Engine keeps that color consistent across SMD, IMD, COB and MIP technologies and across pixel pitches. Studios can judge paint, trim and surfaces on the dvLED wall without re-checking against physical samples, which saves review time and costly design iterations. In dozens of side-by-side shootouts, TRUE dvLED measured highest in color accuracy, detail and homogeneity.
Is dvLED image quality decided by the components or by the system?
By the system. Many buyers combine a top processor, a premium driver IC and a standard panel and expect a flawless picture, but the parts alone do not deliver it. Reliable color and detail accuracy come from making those parts work in unison, synchronised, calibrated together and fine tuned to one another down to the last bit. TRUE Performance has done exactly that for the LED module logic and the control system together since 1992, first under the EKTA name.
